Who handles your data when you pitch your team or send a request, and what happens to it.

What we collect

What you type in the pitch or contact form (including founders' names and profile links), your email, the video you upload, and, if you connect your agent, the answers it returns. We do not use tracking cookies.

Why

To assess a possible investment, board role or talk, and to reply to you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending, and our legitimate interest in answering requests.

Automated first read

An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) reads each pitch and produces a scored memo. It never decides on its own: a person reads every pitch and makes every decision.

Who processes it

Cloudflare (hosting, database, video storage, anti-spam check) and Anthropic (AI read). Both act as processors under data processing agreements. Some processing may happen outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

How long

Pitches we pass on are deleted 12 months after our answer. Pitches we invest in are kept for the life of the investment. Contact requests are kept 12 months.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@upto.tech. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
